General accessories and parts for use with microscopes. Products include lens oil, lens cleaner, slide dispensers, microscope covers, vessel holders, light cubes, and flow cells.
Many parts of your microscope can be updated or replaced including microscope lamps, lenses, and eyepieces. Replacement lamps, light sources, and power cords can extend the working lives of your microscopy equipment. New or replacement objectives and lenses can help increase the total magnification available with your microscope.
Add greater magnification or exchange your eyepiece for one with a reticule to more easily estimate the sizes of the items being viewed.
Replace or update your mechanical stage or clamps or add cell culture vessel adapters to facilitate specimen positioning.
Condensers can also be replaced, and conversion kits are available to add phase contrast, polarization, fluorescence, or other capabilities to your current system.
Some microscopes can be adapted for use with still or video cameras. Look for cameras and adapters designed for your specific microscope brand. Film and documentation-related products may also be available to support your record-keeping.
Temporary, semi-permanent, and more long-term slide storage options include:
- Slide racks that securely hold slides during staining procedures
- Folding fiberboard or plastic slide holders with horizontal indentations that keep microscope slides in place
- Slide storage boxes with vertical dividers; made from fiberboard, plastic, and wood and available in multiple sizes

Seracare Life Sciences Inc SILVER ENHANC KIT-MICROSCOPY
KPL's Silver Enhancer Kits are available for use in light and electron microscopy applications. This simple yet sensitive system is optimized for use with KPL's gold conjugates for the amplification of gold particles. Silver builds up on the surface of the gold particles as a result of the reduction of silver from one solution to another. Silver Enhancer kits offer low background, sensitivity to the picogram level and slow, controlled development. 5-8 minutes development for microscopy applications.
Electron Microscopy Sciences Formvar/Carbon Support Film 3-4 nm/3-4 nm thick on 2X1 mm Slot Grid Gold Grid
A formvar coated grid, stabilized with evaporated carbon film. This type of coating is excellent for specimen support, especially for ultra thin sections. Coated grids are optically checked followed by batch testing in the electron microscope. Packed in grid storage box. NOTE: All film is laid on the shiny side of the grid. Formvar is 5 to 6 nm thick with a 3 to 4 nm carbon coating.

Use Mount-Quick to preserve and protect laboratory specimens. Simple to use - apply thin coating to microscope slide and place coverslip over specimen. Mount-quick dries quickly and is ready for screening in minutes. Final preparation remains stable for a long period of time. Mount-Quick flows easily and eliminates trapping of air bubbles. Packaged in a convenient dispenser tube containing 30ml of media. Tube eliminates unnecessary transferring of media, only amount required is used. Mount-Quick can be removed with xylene if desired.

Electron Microscopy Sciences Crystallography MicroTool Kit 2, 20 Tools
These patent-pending MicroTools have tips used for protein crystals, single cells and manipulating small samples are made from soft, flexible microfabricated polymer films. The curvature of the tips gives them rigidity, but they can still easily be flexed. Tools designed for use with samples from a few micrometers to millimeter in size. These tools will cause far less damage to fragile samples than metal tools, and they are optically and x-ray transparent. Each tool is mounted on a 0.025"/0.64 mm diameter non-magnetic stainless steel base. The base is fitted in a handle 0.7 mm diameter, included in each kit. 20 micro tools for sample manipulating and measurements. The sample tools in this kit are 15 um thick. These scales are used for the measuring of lengths of specimen or distances between points on a variety of different shaped objects. By dividing the division of the chosen graticule by the magnification of the objective one obtains an approximate value that each division will represent on the stage. Horizontal micrometer scale.

Electron Microscopy Sciences TEM Specimen Grinder Model 160
The Model 160 Specimen Grinder is an accurate and dependable tool for mechanically prethinning specimens in preparation for transmission electron microscopy (TEM). It greatly reduces the time spent during the final preparation process of ion beam milling. The grinder accommodates up to 18 mm diameter specimens.
A graduated scale allows the specimen thickness to be easily and precisely controlled. The large diameter provides excellent stability. Specimens with uniform thickness and parallel sides are consistently produced because of the precise fit of the specimen platen into the grinder body. The grinder is heavy enough to provide sufficient grinding force on the specimen. The platen is transferable to the Model 200 Dimpling Grinder.

CoverWell Perfusion Chambers allows up to 16 different specimens on one coverglass. "Press-to-Seal" covers form water-tight, multiwall cell incubation or cytochemistry chamber when pressed to coverslips or microscope slides. Reagents can be quickly added and removed through dual access ports (1.5 mm Dia) without disturbing or cross-contaminating specimens in adjacent wells. Chambers are removable for permanent mounting of specimens. CoverWell chambers are made from medical grade silicone bonded to clear, UV transparent plastic.
